Welcome

Edmond Track Club (ETC) is in it's 4th year and counting! Our goal is to create a fun and learning environment for fitness. The club is for elementary children grades K-6, any school district and all skill levels are welcome to join. During practice, our coaches will teach your child the importance of stretching and proper form.

During the spring, we offer track and field events at Edmond North High School's track. It's a great way to introduce running to kids, not to mention the obvious benefit of exercising. Over a period of one month, we hold a weekly practice and host track meets on Saturdays. Each child is able to participate in up to 4 events (their choice) per meet. Medals and ribbons are awarded to 1st - 6th place finishers by division. Boys and girls will be categorized according to grade level: K-2nd = Division 1; 3rd-4th = Division 2; 5-6th = Division 3. Come one, come all to cheer on your child...bring your lawn chairs and water bottles.

During the fall, we offer cross country at beautiful Mitch Park in Edmond. Even if you think that running a mile is too long, give it a try--you'll be pleasantly surprised! Over a period of one month, we hold weekly practices and meets during the weekday. We hold one race per meet with every finisher receiving a medal.

We also encourage other elementary track clubs to compete with us.
